Sidnei & Zach's Wedding - July 2019

If you come through Annapolis and drive on Generals Highway maybe you've noticed a little place called the Annapolis Wedding Chapel. I recently got to do photos there for Sidnei and Zach's wedding there. It's a little cottage / chapel with beautifly landscaped gardens and grounds, and it's a really fun place to do a photo shoot. Almost like a mini-golf playground for photos with numerous rustic props & kitchy signs. A very charming woodland setting.

Zach is an old friend, Sidnei is a new one. When they hired me to photograph their intimate wedding with only their close family in attendance at the Annapolis Wedding Chapel, I was all-in. Prior to the wedding we made a plan to meet-up and tour the locations of their big day. This gave us a good chance to familiarize ourselves with the sites and come up with some plans. Meeting's like this are a great way to share ideas and get a little more comfortable working together. Also the communicating in person can be a lot clearer than in emails or texts. I was appreciative that they took the time to show me their vision.

The day of the wedding: We started with their garden ceremony. Next we did a bunch of portraits and family groups. Then we departed for the wedding reception at The Severn Inn for food, festivities, and more portraits. Our July sun was clear and bright. There was a warm breeze on the Severn River that day. A really nice day for a sweet couple. I'm pleased with the resulting photos, and Sidnei and Zach said they are as well.
